BMMural-Cropped

As a therapist, I create space for us to explore your innermost thoughts and feelings in a safe and secure environment. I believe disconnection from ourselves and others sits at the core of our distress. Whether we are grieving the loss of a loved one, (barely) managing difficult relationships, or feeling lonely, we tend to fall back on coping strategies that we learned early in life. Oftentimes, these coping strategies served a beneficial purpose, but they may now be causing more harm than good. My role is to help you identify new patterns of thought and behavior to help you achieve your goals and live a satisfying life.

I strive to establish an honest and authentic relationship. As such, I invite prospective clients to first consider whether they feel ready to embrace vulnerability with a sense of curiosity and openness. Through facing these difficult emotions, we have the potential to develop deeper, intimate relationships with those we care about. My specialty areas of training include sex, relationships, LGBTQ concerns, and substance use/abuse. I am kink- and poly-friendly.

I've truly enjoyed connecting with clients as we've navigated difficult life events. My experience includes working in outpatient sexual health clinics, community mental health centers, and university counseling centers across the Southern and Midwestern United States. I see clients one day per week (Fridays) at Radical Authenticity & Wellness in Chicago. I am available for in-person or telehealth sessions with clients residing in Illinois or Indiana. To inquire about scheduling an initial appointment, please call (773) 257-3606.
